Thesis statement:  Indeed, drama will spoil the foundation programme because it is not

                                   the major subject and students need to spend unnecessary money

                                   for the drama presentation.

Topic sentence 1: To begin with, drama is not the major subject in the foundation

                                 programme and it is totally out of range of what they will encounter

                                 when working in future.

Topic sentence 2: Besides that, because of drama, students need to spend some

                                unnecessary money to prepare the costumes, props and even

                                 cosmetics to help their group member to make-up.

Body paragraph 3: It is true that drama can help students to develop their soft skills and build their team spirits. They can get along with other people as well. However, drama is actually a waste of because students need to spend their precious time to prepare the script of the drama and do a lot of practice in order to produce the best drama and so to get highest marks. Indirectly, this will affect their academic performance due to insufficient time to study.
