04 - DRAMA SPOILS THE FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

THESIS STATEMENT
Thus, the presence of drama will affect the student’s academic achievements in both academically and socially.
TOPIC SENTENCE 1
The main point is, drama will disturb the focus of students in their study.
TOPIC SENTENCE 2
In another view, drama limits the time spent for the students to do their revisions or assignments as the practice session of the drama dominances their time.
BODY PARAGRAPH 3
However, there is also a bright side of drama instead of these disadvantages. Indeed, people might say that drama actually help the students to build their self-confidence especially when dealing with the communications with the other people. From this, they might be able to polish their skills, expressing their emotions and as well as building teamwork spirits among themselves. Despite of these mini-advantages, I would like to say that dramas are worthless for the Foundation students. Why, they say that drama is the only place for polishing skills, building teamwork, or maybe creating teamwork spirits? In a real situation, we have many more activities that develop all of these skills instead of drama programme. Drama is just an activity that waste the student’s time compared to the other activities, which involves the practice session that majorly contribute to the loss of student’s time. Thus, we can see clearly now that drama actually spoils the Foundation programme.
